As a Trustee, you will:
- Share responsibility with fellow Trustees for MEA’s governance, strategy, and financial oversight.
- Provide support, insight and constructive challenge to the CEO and senior leadership team.
- Help ensure the charity continues to deliver on its mission effectively, ethically and sustainably.
- Act as an ambassador for MEA, promoting our work to supporters, partners and the wider public.

Previous trustee experience is welcome but not essential – we value diversity of thought, background and experience.
Time commitment
Three in-person Board meetings per year and three virtual meetings, plus planning/strategy half day in person. Additional engagement between meetings as needed. Trustee positions are unremunerated, with reasonable expenses reimbursed.
