Last winter many of our voluntary and community organisations along with libraries and leisure centres opened as Shropshire Warm Welcome venues for residents. This year, the scheme is being funded under the Crisis and Resilience Fund and is being renamed to be “Welcome Spaces” to enable a broader scope of support. The programme will focus on building resilience within communities across Shropshire by creating a network of community spaces where residents can access support. Shropshire Council will help to promote Welcome Space venues provided by our community and voluntary organisations across Shropshire.
