Marches Energy Agency becomes Marches Energy Advice – a new name, new look, and continued commitment to supporting local communities.

Local charity, Marches Energy Agency, is proud to announce it has changed its name to Marches Energy Advice – a new identity that better reflects the vital work it does to support households, businesses and communities across the region.

The new name comes with an updated look, logo, and the launch of a brand-new website designed to make it easier for people to access free, impartial and practical energy advice.

For 27 years, the organisation has worked tirelessly to help people reduce their energy bills, stay warm and well at home and take meaningful steps towards carbon reduction.

The refreshed name, Marches Energy Advice, clearly communicates the charity’s core mission: providing trusted, expert energy advice to those who need it most.

Marches Energy Advice supports residents across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin, Derby & Derbyshire and Herefordshire, offering free and impartial guidance on:

• Helping local people through the cost-of-living and energy crises.
• Managing and reducing energy bills.
• Switching suppliers or tariffs.
• Resolving disputes with energy companies.
• Accessing grants and support for energy efficiency improvements.
• Making homes warmer, greener and more affordable to heat.

With energy costs remaining high and many households still struggling with fuel poverty, the charity’s work is more important than ever.

Beyond helping individuals, Marches Energy Advice also strives to inspire community-wide climate action. The charity encourages households and community groups to take simple steps to reduce energy consumption, such as improving insulation, upgrading heating systems, and using renewable energy where possible.
