As part of our exciting new projects, the Future Ready Home Telford and the Future Ready Home Shropshire, we are holding two open days to give you the chance to see the houses at the start of their retrofit journey.

Marches Energy Agency is working in partnership with Connexus and Shrewsbury Colleges Group, and The Wrekin Housing Group and Telford College, to provide a unique learning opportunity for its construction students. The collaboration focuses on retrofitting two empty properties, one in Shawbury and one in Wellington, into homes fit for the future, as well as offering students invaluable hands-on experience in sustainable construction techniques.

The open days are an opportunity to hear about the process so far and to see the work which has already been done, as well as hear about the future plans for the properties involving students from Shrewsbury Colleges Group and Telford College.
